We are taking audition applications for our upcoming production of “Dido and Aeneas?” – a Queer adaptation of a classic tragedy. Our production will be part of the 96 Festival at the Omnibus Theatre and will take place on 27th June 2026.

We are auditioning for the following roles:

Dido - Mezzo-Soprano

Belinda, Dido's handmaid & Spirit, in form of Mercury - Soprano

Second Woman, Another Handmaiden - Soprano

Aeneas, Trojan Prince - Baritone

First Witch - Soprano

Second Witch – Mezzo-Soprano

First Sailor - Tenor

Chorus – Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano/Alto, Tenor, Bass

Vocal parts are suggested but not mandatory, we are open to transposing vocal parts. The role of Sorceress has been cast. 

 

We are offering a profit share for this show.
