Fach the System! Volume 2
A second rendition of our first in-person production! Arias will be swapped and characters re-imagined. We have a wonderful programme including some Offenbach, Handel, Federico Moreno Torroba and Verdi. Join us for an entertaining evening which takes opera through the looking glass!

The Magic Flute - A Re-Imagining
Step through the looking glass with the Curious Opera Company as they embark on a swapped version of Mozart’s fantastical opera, The Magic Flute. Join Tamina, Pamino and Papagena as they search for personal identity shaped by the polarising forces of the King of the Night and Sarastra. Directed by the talented Hannah Roze-Lewis.

Tess: A Winter's Tale
The Curious Opera Company presents a staged interpretation of Schubert’s song cycle Winterreise where the male protagonist is replaced by Thomas Hardy’s tragic heroine, Tess of the D’Urbervilles. Join us as we follow her journey of love, loss and sacrifice heightened by Schubert’s poignant music.
